This blog is about the CTC, what it is, how it came about and most importantly how it can benefit you. I have been in the dance industry for 30+ years in a number of rolls from dancer to dance teacher to building my own school. In this time I have seen many dance and fitness genres grow in popularity but none more so than cheerleading!
You may be thinking cheerleading is unknown in the UK but you will be surprised to find out that cheerdance is now in most universities in the UK and has 100's of competiting cheerleading squads. If your reading this page you will probably be aware of the cheerleading lifestyle in the USA and as with most state side trends this is rapidly grwoing in the UK.
I decided to take the plunge and add cheerdance to my dancing school, the explosion in popularity with this was incredible and gave me a huge financial gain.
So why did I write the course? I realised there was a huge gap in the uk cheerleading market for CHEERDANCE and also a general lack of online courses for cheerdance coaching, it was from this realisation that the ctc was born. I have spent the last 5 years researching and developing two online course, the first couse is an online cheerdance coaching course and the second one is a cheerdance principle course which offers a complete step by step guide to setting up a successful cheerdance school. The courses have been created for existing dance school owners as a bolt on to their school, for school teachers looking to set up extra curriclar activities, uni students wanting to set up a squad or finally for someone who has no experience in dance but has natural rythym and wants to start something completly new.
